THE FLOOD IS RISING
Within you. And all around you.
You already feel it. You do not drown when the waters rise. You drown when you forget who you are, what you carry, and where you belong.
The Ark is already within you. And within reach.
Enter the ArkI know the Flood.
My little brother set out to cross the sea.
He never reached the water.
He died on the road, along the way.
My childhood friends reached the sea.
Some never reached the other shore.
Their bodies never came home.
BOZA
We made it. We crossed. We are free.
But many never got to say it.
recorded dead or missing on the Mediterranean and West African Atlantic migration routes since 2015.
The true toll is higher. Most deaths on remote routes are never recorded.
IOM Missing Migrants Project. UNHCR.
The world counted statistics.
We counted family.
I was born and raised in Wanindara, Conakry, in Guinea. I grew up watching families say goodbye to the people they loved, in search of dignity and a life worth living.
Mothers with no body to bury. Fathers who stopped speaking. Tables that were never the same again.
The ocean taught me what drowning looks like.
The world taught me that water is not required.
Across Africa, Europe, Asia, the Americas, and beyond, I saw another kind of drowning. No boats. No waves. And often, no one noticing.
Fear. The endless chase. Comfort that makes us forget. The slow loss of who we are.
The Flood was never only water.
Every generation faces a Flood.
The form changes. The pattern never does.
Boza was the cry of surviving the crossing.
Boza Free is the deeper crossing. The crossing of self.
To remember who you are.
To rise from what tried to bury you.
To become strong enough to carry others.
Every generation needs an Ark.
What began as grief became a vow.
The Ark that builds Arks
The Book
The Flood buries a Pyramid. The Ark raises a Champion.
The difference is what you choose.
The Pattern
Every flood runs the same three waves.
Forget. Chase. Drown.

Name your flood. It runs the same.
Yaadou · The Journey
Enter the Ark.
One Ark. Three doors. Enter where you stand.
Everything else waits one door deeper.
The Flood will rise.
It always does.
You may bring it upon yourself.
Others may bring it upon you.
Or God may decree it.
But when it rises, you will not suddenly become ready.
You will reveal what you have already built within.
Do not wait for the Flood to introduce you to yourself.
